About MyDigitalMD

MyDigitalMD is a free service for RMHP Members* that allows you to get health care, anywhere. Text or video chat via your computer or mobile device with Colorado-based, Board Certified physicians to get the help you need while saving you time and money.

*MyDigitalMD is available to RMHP Members enrolled on an Employer Group, Individual & Family, RMHP Prime, RCCO, or PERA plan.
MyDigitalMD is available 365 days a year from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. Mountain time.
With very few exceptions, MyDigitalMD is available anywhere there's an Internet connection.

Yes. If the MyDigitalMD doctor believes medication is necessary for your treatment, he or she can write a prescription, excluding those for controlled substances or lifestyle drugs. The prescription will be sent directly to your preferred pharmacy for pick up at your convenience.

The MyDigitalMD doctor may request certain tests to assist with treatment. If so, they will refer you to a lab or physician to complete the tests. You will be responsible for any applicable payments per your RMHP plan, such as copays or co-insurance costs, in these cases.

MyDigitalMD Providers

All providers are Colorado-based, Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians, licensed to practice medicine in Colorado.
Yes. Just like seeing any doctor, you will be responsible for any applicable copay or coinsurance required by your RMHP insurance plan if you are referred to another provider. For instance, you may be referred to your primary care provider if your condition needs follow-up.
With MyDigitalMD, you interact directly with Colorado-based, Board Certified Emergency Medicine doctors - not nurses. MyDigitalMD doctors can triage, provide diagnostic-driven medical advice, develop treatment plans, and prescribe certain medications.

Getting Started

MyDigitalMD is available for free to RMHP Members enrolled on an Employer Group, Individual & Family, RMHP Prime, RCCO, or PERA plan. Simply download the MyDigitalMD app from the App Store for iOS devices or Google Play for Android devices, or use your computer to easily message or video chat with a doctor.

1. Register for your MyDigitalMD account using your MyRMHP credentials. If you haven't registered for MyRMHP, our secure Member portal, follow the simple steps to create an account. When completing your MyDigitalMD registration, we encourage you to add basic your health information, including medications, allergies, and a brief medical history (recent health issues and any chronic conditions) to help the doctors more effectively respond to your questions and recommend a plan of action.

2. Once you've completed your MyDigitalMD registration, you can immediately begin messaging a doctor, or you can schedule a video appointment.

At this time, MyDigitalMD is available in English only.

Yes, if your dependent is enrolled on an RMHP plan. He or she must create their own account and log in as themselves. If your child(ren) is a minor under the age of 18, the guardian must register an account for the minor, as well as log in and conduct the medical consultation on the minor's behalf. If your child is over 18, he or she will need to register for their own account and log in as themselves.

Security & Privacy

Yes, MyDigitalMD is compliant with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act). Your information will only be shared as appropriate with the physician, pharmacy, referring physicians or labs, and RMHP.
Yes. MyDigitalMD maintains a complete record of your online visit, which is available to you for review and to share with any other providers necessary, such as your primary care provider.
When you register for MyDigitalMD, you will complete your basic medical history, just like you would for a regular office visit. The doctors will have access to the information you supply.
